Role Overview:
As a Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor, you will guide clients through the complexities of M&A transactions. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for deal-making. Advisors are entrusted with building strong client relationships, managing transactions from inception to close, and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
Sell-Side Advisory:
- Engage with and qualify buyers for assigned projects, using provided tools and training to maximize efficiency.
- Build trust-based relationships with sellers, ensuring their objectives are understood and achieved.
- Manage deal structuring, negotiations, and transaction processes to drive successful outcomes.
- Maintain and communicate detailed notes on buyer interactions to ensure seamless communication and follow-up.
- Demonstrate resilience and creativity to overcome roadblocks and keep deals on track.
Buy-Side Advisory:
- Participate in calls and site visits with clients and prospective targets.
- Review and direct valuation reports and draft offers (IOIs/LOIs) with the buy-side team.
- Provide deal structuring advice, negotiate on behalf of clients, and support financing efforts.
- Guide clients through due diligence and closing.
What You Will Not Be Expected to Do:
- Conduct initial financial analysis or create marketing materials.
- Research buyer lists.
- Participate or manage project marketing or administrative tasks such as filing NDAs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or a superstar in business development or business experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the finance industry.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including proficiency in valuation methods and due diligence processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- A results-driven mindset, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with strategic deal structuring and negotiation is highly preferred.
