Introducing Morgan

Originally from Caledonia, Michigan, Morgan brings a well-rounded background in human resources and business operations to Calder Capital. She previously worked at HR Collaborative and completed internships at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Fortis Life Sciences. Morgan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Hope College and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign School of Labor and Employment Relations.

When asked what led her to Calder Capital, Morgan shared, “The company embodies an entrepreneurial spirit that deeply resonates with me. Its potential is immense, and the positive, tangible impact it has already made on the community is both evident and inspiring.”

Morgan is eager to get started, adding, “I’m especially excited to help develop the intern program and gain a deeper understanding of the M&A industry through firsthand experiences.”

Motivated by making a difference and being a positive influence in others’ lives, Morgan values balance and intentionality. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs (and her family’s pygmy goat), exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, and creating custom designs with her Cricut.

In her role as People & Talent Admin, Morgan will focus on strengthening Calder’s internal HR operations, including supporting the growth and structure of its intern program, optimizing HR processes, and ensuring a strong, people-centered foundation for the firm’s continued expansion.

“Morgan’s passion for people and her creative approach to HR make her an outstanding addition to our team. Her ability to balance structure with innovation will be invaluable as Calder continues to grow,” said Max Friar, Managing Partner of Calder Capital.

We’re excited to have Morgan on the Calder Capital team and look forward to the many contributions she’ll bring to the team. To learn more about Morgan’s professional journey, connect with her on LinkedIn.
