Calder Capital, a nationwide mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, is excited to welcome Olivia Devereux as our Sell-Side Business Development Lead.

Originally from Petoskey, Michigan, Olivia brings a people-first mindset to Calder Capital. Previously, she worked in a strategic consulting role supporting a privately held small-business portfolio, advising ownership on growth initiatives across a group of restaurant assets. She also served on Calder Capital’s sell-side team as a Junior Analyst, supporting the preparation of business valuations, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), and related financial analysis for lower-middle-market transactions. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Grand Valley State University and has complemented her academic background with international experience, having taught English in Rome for three months. She is fully TESOL/TEFL certified through Trinity College and is passionate about education, communication, and cross-cultural engagement.
When asked what led her to join Calder Capital, Olivia pointed to the firm’s people and long-term vision. She remarked, “I chose to join Calder because of the team’s energy and the exciting long-term vision management has established for the firm. I genuinely believe in Calder’s mission and the strength of its platform.”
Olivia is eager to get started, sharing, “I’m most excited to learn from and collaborate with such a talented team while contributing wherever I can to deliver real value to our clients.”
Driven by both personal and professional growth, Olivia is particularly motivated by delivering genuine value and helping educate clients on what a transparent, well-run M&A process should look like. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, golfing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves to cook and is always experimenting with new recipes. Olivia is active in the community as a volunteer with The March of Dimes.
In her role as Sell-Side Business Development Lead, Olivia serves as the first point of contact for prospective sell-side clients, guiding business owners through Calder Capital’s Sell-Side advisory process. She manages the Business Development internship program, executes targeted outreach strategies, and represents Calder Capital at networking events and industry conferences to drive brand visibility and new business opportunities. Olivia ensures origination efforts align with Calder’s growth goals while delivering a thoughtful, high-quality experience in early-stage client conversations.
“Olivia brings an incredible combination of discipline, curiosity, and genuine care for clients,” said Garrett Monroe, Sell-Side Managing Director at Calder Capital. “Her ability to educate business owners and clearly communicate the sell-side process aligns perfectly with Calder’s values. We’re excited to see the impact she’ll make as she helps owners take the next step in their respective journeys.”
We’re excited to have Olivia Devereux on the Calder Capital team and look forward to the fresh perspective and enthusiasm she’ll bring. To learn more about Olivia’s professional journey, connect with her on LinkedIn.
