The Acquisition Story
Attco Machine Products, established in 1962, is a niche manufacturing business specializing in producing components used in aerospace assemblies. Over the past six decades, it has evolved into a reputable manufacturer supported by a dedicated team of 48 employees.
Rick Verwilst, who began his career at the company in June of 1977, climbed the ranks to become the owner and CEO. Ready for retirement, Rick and his wife, Janice, engaged Calder Capital to find a suitable successor to continue the company’s legacy.
The Individual Entrepreneur is a senior executive with extensive experience in investment banking, business development, technology, manufacturing, and transportation. Based in Chicago, Illinois, he has an MBA in Finance, Marketing, and Statistics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. In search of a manufacturing business to acquire, he found that Attco’s offerings perfectly aligned with his interests.
