Current Role: Jake is an M&A Advisor serving the Greater Chicago area. He is responsible for assisting clients in qualifying and vetting potential buyers, conducting due diligence, structuring deals, and navigating the intricate landscape of M&A transactions.

Background: Jake joined Calder Capital in October 2020 as an intern, working with analysts and associates on financial analysis, valuations, confidential marketing materials, and due diligence. After graduating, he transitioned to a full-time role on the analyst team supporting company leadership and advisors in managing M&A client engagement projects. He later advanced to associate and, in 2023, stepped into his current role as an M&A Advisor. Prior to joining Calder Capital, Jake served in roles with a number of local West Michigan companies. He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, where he studied both finance and marketing. Jake enjoys the challenge associated with the mergers and acquisitions industry and relishes the opportunity to support clients as they transition to and from business ownership.

Hobbies: Outside of work, Jake is a University of Michigan sports enthusiast, avid traveler, and golfer. In his free time, he enjoys exploring West Michigan’s many breweries and amazing scenery.
