Calder Capital, a nationwide mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, is thrilled to welcome Aidan Cote as our newest Buy-Side Search Director.
Introducing Aidan
Originally from Rockford, Michigan, Aidan brings a diverse background in finance, sales, and business strategy. He has previously worked at Sleeping Giant Capital, North American Senior Benefits, 44 North, and Innovia Wealth, where he gained valuable experience in financial analysis, business development, and client relations. Aidan graduated from Western Michigan University with a dual major in Finance and Leadership and Business Strategy. Throughout his academic career, he has demonstrated strong leadership, successfully guiding a team of students through a practicum in his Leadership & Business Strategy major.
When asked what led him to Calder Capital, Aidan shared that he was particularly drawn to the firm’s unique combination of finance and sales
“I was very intrigued by the combination of finance and sales in the role. I have experience in both areas and enjoy both greatly. Then, once I met and spoke with a few of the people at Calder, I knew this was where I wanted to be.”
Aidan is eager to get started, adding, “I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the M&A world and helping clients achieve their dream of acquiring a company.”
Motivated by a drive for personal and professional success, Aidan is committed to working hard to live the most successful and fulfilling life possible. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, playing and watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite quote, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right” by Henry Ford, reflects his strong belief in mindset and determination.
In his new role as Buy-Side Search Director, Aidan will guide buyers through the initial stage of their acquisition journey, conducting market research to help prospective clients hone their acquisition criteria, ensure that they understand the search process, and guide them with best practices to execute effectively. Aidan will also educate buyers on how Calder’s Buy-Side team supports them throughout the entire process, from identifying and qualifying prospects to valuing, negotiating, and drafting offers on acquisition targets.
