Introducing Em
Originally from Rockford, Michigan, Em recently moved back to the Grand Rapids area after spending time in Charlotte, North Carolina. She brings a wealth of experience in quality control, process improvement, and team leadership. With over five years of experience in quality assurance, she has developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of optimizing operations for efficiency and accuracy. Em previously worked as a Quality Control Specialist at Madcap Coffee Company, where she played a pivotal role in ensuring product excellence and enhancing operational processes.
When asked what led her to join Calder Capital, Em shared “I was looking for a transition out of the food & beverage industry and saw the opening here. Had a wonderful interview process with the team and found the job to be a perfect fit for what I was looking for.”
Em is eager to get started, adding, “I’m excited to be involved in such a growth-focused company and to be able to hone in my data management skills.”
Outside of work, Em enjoys exploring various hikes and trails along the Lake Michigan coast. She is an avid reader, passionate cook, and loves spending time with her cats at home. She also makes frequent trips to the Detroit area to see friends and attend concerts. Motivated by continuous learning and personal growth, she embraces the philosophy, “When you make positive changes in your own life, those effects ripple out from you and you can find yourself surrounded by the very thing you fostered.”
In her new role at Calder Capital, Em will focus on supporting lead generation efforts, database administration, and data quality. Her expertise in research, quality control, and data analysis will be instrumental in enhancing Calder’s outreach capabilities.
