Calder Capital, a nationwide mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, is thrilled to welcome Logan Granger as its newest Buy-Side Associate.
Introducing Logan
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Logan brings financial expertise to Calder Capital, having worked in investment banking. He previously held roles at JPMorgan Chase in Plano, Texas, and Houlihan Lokey in New York City, where he gained valuable experience in financial analysis, deal structuring, and client advisory. Logan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Michigan State University, where he honed his skills in capital markets and corporate finance.
When asked what led him to join Calder Capital, Logan cited the ability to take control of his work, the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field, and the benefit of working alongside like-minded individuals. “I was drawn to Calder because of the firm’s reputation for excellence and the entrepreneurial environment that allows team members to have a direct impact. The opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and ambitious peers made this an easy decision.”
Logan is eager to get started, adding, “I am eager to learn from my colleagues at Calder as well as the clients that we work with.”
Motivated by his father and Logan’s personal and professional goals, Logan is always striving for growth. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, working out, exploring new restaurants, and spending time outdoors. He’s also an avid reader who constantly seeks new knowledge and inspiration. One of his favorite quotes comes from the film Bleed For This: “The biggest lie that we are told is that it is never that simple.”
In his role as a Buy-Side Associate, Logan will play a key role in assisting buyers throughout their acquisition journey. He will conduct in-depth market research, refine acquisition criteria for clients, and guide them through best practices for executing successful transactions. Logan will also support Calder’s Buy-Side team by identifying and qualifying prospects, valuing potential acquisitions, and helping clients navigate negotiations and deal structuring.
