She attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Western Michigan University. She volunteers as the Secretary for the Grand Rapids National Women in Roofing chapter and has begun working toward her builder’s license.

Hobbies: Spending relaxing days with her dogs, reading, being with family, playing rugby, and volunteering at the Kent County Animal Shelter, where she enjoys walking dogs.
