Current Role: Jon is an M&A Advisor serving West Michigan and Ohio. He is responsible for assisting clients in qualifying and vetting potential buyers, conducting due diligence, structuring deals, and navigating the intricate landscape of M&A transactions.

Background: Jon’s background includes 11 years in banking, with his most recent role as a branch manager at Macatawa Bank where he honed his leadership, finance, and problem-solving skills. He has also been expanding his expertise in the M&A field, working part-time with Small Business Deal Advisors, Calder’s sister company, since 2021. Jon earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Grand Valley State University.

Hobbies: When he’s not working, Jon can be found immersing himself in the great outdoors, exploring hiking trails, and taking trips to northern Michigan to experience the natural beauty and beaches of Michigan. He’s the proud girl-dad of four daughters and a dog, and has been happily married to his wife, Alyssa, for 12 years. As a family, they enjoy riding bikes and playing golf together.
