Current Role: As a Buy-Side M&A Advisor, Patrick assists potential buyers in finding the right acquisition targets, conducting due diligence and negotiations, and directing projects through to close.

Background: Patrick’s experience is rooted in private equity and corporate development, which he has been involved in since 2013. He has managed and executed multiple platform and add-on transactions and has led all areas of an acquisition, from sourcing potential targets to managing the due diligence and closing processes. Patrick holds bachelor’s degrees in both management and economics from Hope College. He is actively involved in the Grand Rapids and Holland communities, participating in Hope College through the Department of Economics, Management, and Accounting and the Hope Entrepreneurship Initiative, as well as through the Association for Corporate Growth, West Michigan. Patrick resides in Holland with his wife, Olivia, and their two Australian Shepherd puppies, Lincoln and Tilly.

Awards and Recognition: Patrick was a 2025 honoree of The M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leaders Award. Patrick was also recognized by Crain's Grand Rapids Business in their 2025 M&A Deals and Dealmakers Awards as Dealmaker of the Year in the Adviser category. In 2025, he was recognized as an Investment Banker of the Year finalist by The M&A Advisor. He served as lead advisor to ADAC in its acquisition of EBW Electronics, which won Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year ($10MM–$25MM) at the 2026 International M&A Awards. Robey led Calder’s advisory work for Ajax Defense’s acquisition of BiTec, a finalist for Industrials Deal of the Year ($10MM–$25MM) at the 2026 M&A Advisor Awards. Robey also served on Calder’s deal team for the majority investment and recapitalization of SERVPRO of Saginaw by City Capital Ventures, which was named a finalist for M&A Deal of the Year ($75MM–$100MM) and Industrials Deal of the Year ($50MM–$100MM) at the 2024 M&A Advisor Awards.
