Founded in 1928, Lakeland Mills has a long-standing reputation for producing unique rustic and log furniture products. The company sells to customers through retail stores and online dealers and is committed to sustainable practices, ensuring no forests are thinned or leveled to source the natural wood used in their furniture. Following 30+ years of service, Calvin Hunt and his wife, Theresa, engaged Calder Capital’s Sell-Side team to find a successor.
The individual entrepreneurs bring expertise in handcrafted rustic furniture and furniture made from reclaimed and sustainable woods, making them a natural fit for Lakeland Mills’ unique product line.
This strategic acquisition will enable the individuals to enter the indoor furniture market, complementing their existing outdoor furniture offerings and expanding their product lines.
