Current Role: As Sell-Side Director and M&A Advisor, Garrett directs the Calder Capital Sell-Side team and oversees all Sell-Side M&A client engagement projects. Additionally, he manages all Sell-Side financial modeling, business valuation, due diligence, and marketing material creation. Other duties include business development and advising business owners and business buyers in acquiring or exiting businesses. Previously, Garrett was a Calder Capital Sell-Side Analyst/ Associate.
Background: Garrett has experience with a well-respected private equity firm and middle-market investment bank, where his main responsibilities included: deal sourcing, in-depth financial analysis, marketing initiatives, and industry research. Garrett graduated, magna cum laude, from Grand Valley State University in 2019 with a BBA in Finance and Supply Chain Management.

Hobbies: He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, West Michigan, and is a mentor for the Finance Professional Mentorship Program at Grand Valley State University. He currently resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Claire. In his free time, Garrett enjoys playing golf and going to the beach.
