About Kregg Kiel:
Kregg Kiel is a Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor with Calder Capital. He joined Calder in 2023 and serves business owners across the Indiana market, guiding them through the complexities of the M&A process. Before joining Calder, Kiel built a distinguished career in finance, holding roles that deepened his understanding of corporate strategy, valuation, and deal execution. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ferris State University and an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Throughout his career, Kiel has played an integral role in helping clients qualify and vet potential buyers, conduct due diligence, and structure deals that achieve successful outcomes. His analytical expertise and strategic approach have made him a trusted partner for business owners seeking to maximize value and execute smooth transitions.
Originally from Stevensville, Michigan, Kiel has lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, since 2018. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening, hiking, and traveling with his wife.

The Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) program is designed for business advisors who work closely with owners of privately held companies. The core of the program is Master Planning, aligning business, personal, and financial goals through the Value Acceleration Methodology™.
The program follows an executive MBA-style format, featuring a mix of lectures, group discussions, case studies, and individual exercises to equip participants with the essential skills and strategies for exit planning. It is taught by the Exit Planning Institute’s faculty of experienced advisors, authors, and industry leaders.
To receive the CEPA credential, candidates must complete the rigorous five-day program, which requires approximately 100 hours of pre-course study, 30 hours of classroom instruction, and the successful completion of a three-hour proctored exam.
