Transaction Summary
Calder Capital, a nationwide mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of Model Die & Mold, Inc. of Wyoming, Michigan, by Maynards Industries USA, LLC of Southfield, Michigan.
The Acquisition Story
Model Die & Mold is a second-generation, family-owned West Michigan business. It was founded in 1966 and was led and owned by Gordon Brown since 2011. The Company specializes in the design and manufacture of precision compression molds, injection molds, carbon fiber molds, and die-cast dies for customers across the United States and internationally, including major OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in automotive, aerospace, defense, heavy equipment, and other industrial markets. With the objective of maximizing value in the sale of the business, Brown engaged Calder’s Sell-Side team.
Model Die & Mold’s engagement led to Calder Capital marketing and advising the sale of its business assets to Maynards Industries USA, LLC.
